>we don't give a shit or take notice what everyone else does
While you're not entirely wrong, you're playing into the stereotype of Americans being sheltered and ignorant while thinking they're better than everyone else. The truth is that the average (non-Southerner/red state) American is more cultured, more traveled, more knowledgeable of different cuisines and cultures, and just generally less xenophobic than almost anyone in Europe, or anywhere else on the planet. If you've been on /ck/ for more than a day you've probably seen someone post something along the lines of, "this board would be so much better if we range banned Americans". I implore you to stay up one night and browse /ck/. There's a few hours every night when yuros are just waking up and strayans are just getting home from school, when most Americans are asleep, and the board literally turns into /b/ 2.0. When they aren't shooting off one line throwaway forced memes all they talk about is kebabs. Imagine if the average American kid was fed nothing but hamburger helper, except once a month when their mom would take them to Panda Express to buy them a plate of orange chicken. Now imagine if every American never shut up about how good Panda Express orange chicken is, and even argued over which location makes the best orange chicken. That's how 90% of the non-Americans here talk about kebabs, and when they aren't talking about kebabs they'll post (e.g.) the same Ramsay grilled cheese image that was old 5 years ago with nothing but a "."
