One day you'll get a message from your doctor saying you have abnormal liver function. If you're lucky they'll tell you to cut down. If you're unlucky, and it happens all the time, they'll send you for a liver ultrasound. They'll be checking for cirrhosis. They'll give you around 10 more years to live, if you never drink again. That news will come suddenly and you'll wonder why the fuck you threw your life away for this played out boring buzz in front of your computer screen, watching films and youtube videos. I bet some of you even get drunk, sit down in front of the kino machine and don't even know what to do with yourselves. You'll just sit there, scrolling through things, but unable to find anything worth settling on, until you enter a complete stupor. That is not worth giving your life for.

>t. 28 year old who's seen it all
Have you noticed how few old people actually kill themselves? After mid-life crisis years, suicide rate falls rapidly. The closer and realer death gets, the more people are afraid of it. And you will be too.

If you were 44 with cancer why would the 'Hallmark advice' (that is, remember illness from alcohol comes suddenly and is deadly) be targeted at you?

>> No.18897898

>>18897888
It wasn't targeted at them dumbass, you included their demographic as evidence that people generally have a greater desire to live the older they get, and he's like "uh no not really.'

He is replying because you put words in his mouth when arguing with someone else.

based, I recently quit because I got the coof and just didn't start my drinking again, hopefully I can stay this way now. Really wonder how much I fucked my body up by drinking heavily 3-5 days a week for the past 2 years.

how's the greek vodka?

>> No.18898598

>>18898578
I'm not much of a vodka person, but I am greek, which is why I got it. They distill the grain with olives. It is quite enjoyable actually. No olive flavor at all. It's very clean and fresh tasting. I also love the bottle.

>> No.18898625

>>18898578
Just had a sip to remind myself and it has that signature vodka taste, but also lemon curd, and an herbal/savory taste. Ever so slightly reminiscent of green olives.

Nice. I've seen it at my local. I didn't realize they used olives. Pic related is distilled from honey - very clean as well with a suggestion of whipped cream.
