egg sandwiches are the best sandwich, simple as
with endless options, there is no clear winner
if i could have one right now id have:
>bread:sourdough
>cheese:cheddar
>meat:venison sausage
>eggs:scrambled
>sauce:ketchup and siracha

pic unrelated (this morning's comfy and humble bologna, bagel, cheddar)

For me it's the classic deli BEC, but made at home.
2 fresh eggs from the backyard flock
Home cured and smoked bacon
Storebought American cheese
Either honenade or storebought kaiser roll
Salt
Pepper
Ketchup

The perfect breakfast. Pic absolutely related.

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.

I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.

My usual breakfast sandwich is toasted light rye, a couple of smoked sauages split and fried, 3 fried eggs, kraut and stone-ground mustard, horseradish sauce on the bread instead of butter or mayo.

Didn't use my ideal bread for that one, would have used hand sliced bakery loaf like this prosciutto sandwich I made this weekend.

It's a treat, not a staple, but I love a good breakfast burger. A nice soft brioche bun, a little mayo with a ton of pepper on the bottom bun, a little ketchup on the top bun. An over medium egg with just a dribble of yolk when you bite in, with a semi-melted slice of provolone cheese on top, placed on a burger cooked to taste, served alongside crispy, oily homefries, some coffee, some kefir, and some cranberry juice.

Used to work nights and get out at 8:00am.
>meet a buddy on his day off every week
>go to this bar/bowling alley/"family fun" place (it was mainly a bowling alley but they had putt-putt golf and an arcade or some shit)
>for some reason they opened at 7am
>drink pitchers and play pool all morning
>simple BEC on an english muffin
>tasted so good after being up all night
>and after the 2nd or 3rd pitcher
>end up still being there getting sloshed when they started wheeling out the lunch buffet
>old people start shuffling in
>they see 2 dudes going in and out of the back door to chain smoke, come back, down another pitcher and repeat
Those were the days...
