We have this one (which I think everyone has seen before) where grains are at the bottom.

This is another common variant with exercise at the bottom and oils, fruits/veggies, and grains sharing the 2nd layer.

And here's a third where fruits/veggies make up the entire bottom row, with grains now making up the second layer.

Dairy doesn't need to be on any of these at all. Just the concept of saying "this is what all people should eat to be healthy" is flawed no matter what.

none because arranging foods in a pyramid is stupid
but here are some key points
>plenty of water
>plenty of veggies
>sufficient protein (pick main sources by preference)
>atleast some fish and seafood
>some nuts, liver, berries
>salt
>some additional carbs and/or fat if youre not fat, but avoid large amounts of omega 6 and avoid sugars. you do not have to keep a specific carb/fat ratio
>avoid anything artificial, sweetened or very sweet including very sweet fruit, though one could argue about honey in small amounts

I think many of them are deficient in salt. You need the Cl- in salt (NaCl) to make stomach acid (HCl), and salt is the primary source of it. /fit/izens work out and sweat, depleting their salt and the generic health advice is to fear salt and see it as something to heavily limit in your diet.So they would have less acidic stomach acid, making it digest food less completely. Stomach acid pH can be anywhere from 1-4, meaning someone with a stomach acid pH of 1 has 1000x more acidic stomach acid than someone with a pH of 4. This would seem to explain why some people can have no problem eating raw meat or stuffing themselves with tons of food and others get indigestion eating regular portions of normal food.

chloride deficiency is rare, other electrolyte deficiencies which usually coincide have pretty severe side effects. it's unlikely to go unnoticed especially by those exercising. 1) Holy fucking ESL
2) Telling people to eat "healthy" fats defeats the purpose of having a food pyramid in the first place. People come to these things to find out what to eat, but you're telling them to eat things they already think are good for them
