Take soluble fiber whenever you eat spicy food. Take it anyway even when you don't because it's good for you and makes you shit heroic solid logs.

It helps but severely spicy stuff will still cause a reaction.
BTW it's not about the reflux it's about the painful constipation followed by explosive diarrhea.

You are taking too much fiber if they're coming out so solid that they hurt. You really don't need that much. Like a teaspoon of soluble fiber with a large dinner of low fiber food. If you're grabbing a random spoon from your drawer and filling it with fiber you're using way too much.

it is not pointless machismo to eat spicier and spicier food- heat enhances the flavor of every other flavor. food without that heat is blander in every way. the hotter it is the sharper the flavors are. acids work this way to an extent too.

god also favors me and i can eat all of this shit with no effect on my GI tract.

I literally broke my femur while simply walking at a very young age and I was also taking over the counter anti acid drugs around that time, I believe it's possible they weakened my bones. Doctors are not sure 100% why it happened but I will never take anti acid drugs ever again.

Anyways I personally improved my acid reflux by avoiding all processed foods and eating a healthier diet. also I are more acidic foods like beans and tomatoes boiled with apple cider vinegar and balsamic vinger, because it's the only thing that settled my stomach and reduced the acid. chalky over the counter anti-acids and proton pump inhibitors just made me violently projectile vomit and then I would have 10x worse acid reflux an hour later. so this is the only thing that helped me.

I am NOT a doctor. This is NOT advice. ask your doctor before doing anything.

Phew, I almost started reaching for unprocessed meat and veg for a second there.

I used to have terrible AR but I fixed it by never eating anything after 6pm unless I'm forced to if I'm out with friends or whatever. If I eat too close to when I sleep I am guaranteed to have a sleepless night writhing around while my stomach tries to murder me.

>spice
That's now how it works
Capsaicin causes a CNS receptor that normally responds to extreme heat or severe abrasion to misfire, that receptor is present in basically every mucous membrane in your entire body.

Did you think you had taste buds in your eyes?
