One of my 2023 resolutions is to eat more seafood. How do youse guys eat your fish?

Some even say Im wise beyond my years.

Here's my advice if you want to eat more fish. Start the seafood diet. You sea food, fish in your case, you eat food. It's really that simple!

Efficiency - automatically cleaned whenever you wash hands or shower.

Truly hygenic - you know where your cutlery has been.

Convenience - you have your eating utensils with you, literally at your fingertips. Never have anything stuck in your teeth with pinky nail toothpick.

Multi-use - small spoons can be used for consuming soup, snorting drugs, or precisely measuring out ingredients while cooking.

Attractive to those with a refined and efficient aesthetic.

Powerful self defense implements.

I could go on, but I think I've said enough.

Start with Mahi, barramundi, sea bass or any firm fish. Easy to cook and will introduce you to it. They’re all mild I’d just cook it with butter or olive oil and basic seasoning.

I'm a big fan of Cantonese seafood recipes. My favorite way is probably a classic Cantonese steamed fish. One note on the recipe below, I do not recommend adding salt like they suggest the first time you make it. I think it's too salty with it it. https://thewoksoflife.com/steamed-whole-fish/ just make it with fillets if you can't handle the whole fish. I usually have to chop the head off and set it above the body so it'll fit in my steamer. Then I put them together when I plate the fish and nobody is any wiser to my ruse.

That website has a bunch of other good Chinese seafood recipes too, so browse around.

Other ways I like to eat seafood:
étouffée (I make it with shrimp, crawfish is a popular way to make it too)
sardines
fresh oysters

I usually pan fry white fish in tempura batter and eat it with hot sauce, saute shrimp in garlic butter and add them to pasta dishes (works really well with vodka sauce and arrabiata imo), and honestly most good quality light tasting fish just needs garlic or herb butter, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

You don't eat more types of good food because you're a badly raised tastelet moron who hasn't realized that food doesn't have to have been grown in backwoods Missouri. There's a whole world of other good things to eat, even just within the USA, and we eat them because they're nice and tasty.
