I try to use a new method of preservation every year. Probably going with brine this time.

even if lemon piglets are slightly off topic (which they aren’t, they are absolutely on topic, they are a form of cooking too, but for the sake of argument let’s assume they are off topic) it’s maybe a handful of threads once a year, and 1 or 2 check-in threads later in the year at most. on a slow board too. none of the material posted is offensive or illegal or can get the site in trouble. it’s a tradition going for several years that everybody loves. if only tangentially-related content can exist on other boards unmolested (like /v/ the musical or the mr. and ms. /co/ events) this should be no different.

This was 2022's Pig. He was kept in a containment jar because he was too powerful. Over the year he collected juices and sprouted mold. Looking forward to making one for 2023, but the current lemon I bought didn't fit in the new jar. I plan on keeping years worth of these piggies as I get older.
