lets say i wanted to prepare wet cat food in such a way that it would be palatable for a person? dont worry about 'wah wah its not made for people', i know what im doing and i have my reasons. just tell me, how would you make it? what kinda seasonings would you use? and how would you cook it to make the texture somewhat nicer? pan-fry it perhaps? thank you friends

>> No.18749074

Those things aren't cheaper than human food. They have tiny portions because they are made for animals that weigh like 10 lbs.

>that it would be palatable for a person?
I don't think that will happen.

supposedly they add stuff to cat food that makes it smell and taste really good to cats, but you would probably think it taste like crap.

basically if you smell it and it does not smell good there won't be anything you can do to make it taste good.

also pretty sure you could find literally ANYTHING else for less money that taste better.

>> No.18749095

ok ill sort the taste/smell situation out, but what about the texture? if i fry it, will it firm up a tad?

>> No.18749099

Why would you fry it? It's already cooked.

Heat the cat food, 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce (per can used) and some garlic powder in a skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir the for about 5 minutes. (Let it cook longer if you want it crispy) Then you can serve it over rice or pair it with vegetables.

No one is helping you because no one here eats, or has the desire to eat, cat food. Wet cat food is boiled meat scraps and meat jelly that smells like rusting metal. It couldn't be less appetizing and it has never occurred to me once that it might be suitable for human consumption in any capacity.

>>18749196
If I was going to eat any pet food I would only consider kibble and it tastes pretty bad. I can only imagine how horrible wet food tastes.

It's occurred to me a couple times.
