Never been a huge grape flavor fan. Grape jam is actually quite low on the list of Jams (Pear or orange marmalade for me), but I am literally eating a PB&J right now with grape jelly as I grew up with it and hate strawberry jelly. In fact I barely use any on my PB&J though since American jelly is basically Candy goo, hell I even add sliced banana or use wheat bread just to even out how sugary that shit is.

There is actually a long deep history of why the watermelon is racistly associated with blacks

Long story short though, watermelons were easy for slaves to grow, so they became popular among the blacks and associated with them. Because of this the fruit was lampooned in racist black depictions.

I have no idea, and honestly I don't really know anyone who's first choice of anything would be "grape flavored". Still, it's pretty common, especially at breakfast places that have these >>18719525 prepackaged jelly containers for your toast. It's almost always just strawberry and grape. I think it's just because they're inoffensive, so most people aren't going to complain. It's a lowest common denominator thing like how people order cheese and pepperoni pizza if they're feeding a group; it's not anyone's favorite flavor, but nobody is really going to complain.
