While fatty meat are considered luxury, lean meats are much cheaper.
Even tropical 3rd world country can produce a lot of lean beef
So consider it a blessing, you wont have to waste so much on feeding yourself.
I believe chinese cuisines have a lot of good dishes that are designed for lean meat.

As for me i am doomed, as i can no longer eat meat without fat, i prefer more fat than meat.

Fat may be flavor but it also feels nasty to have a big glob of fat in your mouth. I always cut the extra bits on the edges off. If im cookin on the stove, ill render it out to use as cooking oil so its not wasted.
