Use it to make thicker salad dressings and sandwich spreads. Bacon fat is smokey porkfat goodness. It's also good for toasting bread in for the best sandwiches.

senior in college rn and ive been living off of bacon cream cheese bagel sandwiches
usually i fry the bacon, put it aside, then fry the bagels face down in the pan of fat. they soak up nearly all the fat (make sure not to burn the bagels)
then i take em out of the pan, spread cream cheese on them, put the bacon on, and top off with the other side of the bagel
its really heavy but it satisfies me for nearly the whole day

And then make some biscuits. And ofcourse a egg. Now you have a great breakfast that should only take like 30 minutes to make if you plan it out accordingly.

The joke is that the place is called "Sneed's Feed & Seed" which is clever in itself and quite funny to those with a mature sense of humour but what's really just hilarious about it is that if you look closely at the front of this store, Sneed's Feed & Seed, you can see a line that reads "Formerly Chuck's".

Y'ain't special, fren. Everybody loves johnny cakes. I'm euro but learnt to make them from my ex an Amerisoutherner nigress. Ya make'em savoury or sweet?
I like savoury but ex preferred putting treacle/molasses or honey on them.
Same with grits. The idea of sugargrits still fucking grosses me out.

>>18681525
Not sure I know whatcha mean. I don't serve'em stacked on top of one another like American pancakes. I'll fry my bacon, fry my eggs and fry up the johnny cakes and serve them in, like, a semicircle alongside the two, basically in place of toast, with some butter on them. Good shit.

I did this once, the bacon flavor was overwhelming and completely ruined the dish. I use leftover bacon fat for greasing skillets or making rouxs mostly.

Sounds delicious but it has too much bagel for my taste. I'm going to try this but without the other half of the bagel on top. Thanks anon.

Did you make English brekkie fried rice? Cuz that's what I do. Chopped tomato and mushroom, the bacon and some scrambled egg all mixed in and baked beans on the side. Nice to put tomato sauce/ketchup on it, too, but I've added it to the rice directly as it cooks as well.
