This may be a bit off topic but i think it's close enough to ask. If i wanted to make a non-dairy based chocolate beverage what would be the best way to go about it? Something that you drink cold and is actually quite refreshing and not so thick and creamy as something like chocolate milk. I also would rather it not be sickeningly sweet either but that's simple enough to adjust for.
I tried the simplest possibility and boiled some cocoa powder into some water and cooling that but the powder didn't fully dissolve and left a slight grainy texture. Any anons have any better ideas?
