Is this good beer for a teetotaler? The only other beer I've had was Guinness and I thought it was disgusting, is this any better?

No, just buy guiness extra stout

>> No.18598023

nah, it's like bitter dark chocolate with the added unpleasant boozy quality
just drink lambic/fruit beers or sours if you like tart

Dude, get you some Coors Banquet or Coors Golden Banquet. I was iffy on beer for a long time, I've switched to just drinking these as of late instead of liquor. They have good flavor, especially the golden, and they're light beers. Guinness is a very stout beer, usually people who are already accustomed to beer develop a palate that can suit it. Don't drink crap like that, when people want a beer, they don't reach for garbage like this. IPAs are good on occasion, but it's better to introduce yourself to the macros to get an idea of how different beer can taste. Honestly, Bud Light could be a good choice too. I don't particularly like them, but they are very easy to drink, some people call them watered down. Just branch out with actual beer, no suffixes attached. I also recommend Shiner Bock, Blue Moon, and Dos Equis. Dos especially is very light and easy to drink, especially with salt and lime. One of my favorites :^) Just branch out with real beer because many IPAs are too hoppy and could turn you off it. Good luck and happy beerhunting

i'd actually recommend their dirty bastard. guinness is pretty light flavored compared to other dark beers. maybe go for something labelleed "amber ale", "bock" or "dunkel" if you want something dark that's not super heavy

your pic rel is strong in taste, high in ABV and calories. i really like it but if you don't like heavy beers, you probably wont. still try it though

dear god, that's a decent direction but a short bet for giving someone something that makes them say holy shit. founders is like the old reliable special move that stopped being relevant a year prior. we don't sell that to you anymore, but they keep thinking these retarded Bottle Shop Series are going to hit the new generation market and they couldn't be more wrong.
you should be trying a red ale or some killians. conway from great lakes. not "founders breakfast stout top 10 omfg"

yep exactly. guinness is like 120 calories or something a pint. surprisingly light and decent flavor.

Its called breakfast stout and it literally is good when paired with a breakfast platter(bacon, eggs, homefries, French toast w/blueberries)

I've only done this once with a friend because he recommended drinking it this way to get the full experience. He was right but its only good to do once in a blue moon

If you're a teetotaler 60 IBU's will be exceedingly bitter. Get something around 30. Anything beyond 40 is simply unenjoyable unless you love onions IPA's

>> No.18607729

You want your beer ice cold - served on a mug/cup that's just been taken out of a cooler if possible. Taste is acquired with experience, you'll have to drink a bit until you start enjoying it so my suggestion would be something like Patronus Weissbier
