It's not really $1.38. You are paying like $100 per year for membership.

If you live in Pennsylvania, they have to sell food to non-members. Only the retail products require a membership legally.

The exception is dine-in restaurants like American Legion. Not exactly sure how that works.

Yes, depending on what/how much you buy. But the real reason for the membership fee is about keeping out undesirables. Look up the stats on Costco memberships among rooftop Koreans.

Plus you can treat the employees like shit since you're paying their salaries just by being in the store. Last time I was there, I dropped trou and laid a huge turd right in front of the chicken counter, and then rolled over it a few times on my complimentary mobility scooter, and a wagie happily scooped it up while singing Happy Birthday because I said it was my birthday.

What is BJ's even like bro? If Sam's is owned by Walmart, is BJ's owned by TJ Maxx? Nobody talks about it, their subreddit is ghost town. Is it a hidden gem, or a Dollar Store with a velvet rope?

>> No.18588594

>>18588575
Basically the same as Sam's and Costco. I've had memberships to all 3 at one point or another and really don't notice a difference. I just have BJ's cause it's the closest to my house.
