Generally the smaller fish taste better. If they get big and old they are worse than the smaller specimen. They aquire more shit in their meat and stuff.

Generally the smaller the anime, especially sea fruit like shrimp the better it tastes. Had these colossal shrimp we got from a research place one time and head to tail was as long as my forearm. A swarm of them could legitimately kill a person. Sadly except for the head, it was like most of sweetness was gone and was pretty much just like lobster (prison food).
