I knew something was wrong as soon as I saw them in the case. Everyone was telling me I had to try Jersey Mike's and how its so good. Then I saw the pig bricks and every sub came with fucking provolone and I became concerned. It wasn't bad, but it was definitely disappointing and definitely not worth the price.

The real kicker is how they fuck with the sizes. Instead of half/whole the 6"/footlong they do mini/regular/giant. A giant is a whole sub and it's fucking $16 for an Italian.

Modern fast food prices are so ridiculous that the only way I can tolerate them is to make maximum use of app deals, reward points, stealing fountain drinks, websites that list anyone giving away a burger for some dumb event, etc. Fast food can still cost $4 if I waste some time putting together the cheapest possible meals.

After years of hearing about how burgerland pizza was trash compared to the refined, artisan pizza of Italy, I found the experience quite lackluster. I don't even think meat matters that much as I've taste-tested Boar's Head versus store brand on subs and the difference is minimal on a sandwich with that much bread and toppings (despite it being clear when you just try the meat itself).

Wawa is not nationwide. Some of us have to get by with Royal Farms or Sheetz, if we want that authentic flavor of a gas-station sandwich tinged with the aromas of diesel and dirty bathrooms.

last time I went to subway. I used to eat fast food all the time as a teen/young adult, but now eat it less than once a year. a couple months ago I got the craving for fastfood and subway in particular and it was probably the worst thing I've ever eaten, I was so mad. I tried their new crispy chicken or whatever the fuck and it was like those cheap frozen chicken nuggets from the frozen food section of the grocery store put into a sandwich. I will never try anything new again from fast food and will only eat what I know is good

For years I heard people hype up In-n-Out like it's the best fast food ever, but when I finally visited California and tried it, it was the blandest burger I've ever had and the fries weren't very good either

North Eastern anon here. Wawa it hot garbage with too much potential to be good. Their coffee is the only good thing about it because their employees always fuck up the order. You could order three things to go on your sandwich and they'd still find a way to fuck it up not even joking. They also have the most basic bitch of snacks and drinks available which don't seem to change in variety no matter where you go. It's the most sterile and boring gas stop chain with zero personality.
