My opinion is that it's OK, but like most dumbass chains it depends on the shop. There's one in my area and it's run almost entirely by Mexicans, they do a good job. The one closest to me, in a shopping area, fuck those social justice warrior assholes. I learned the hard way that they regularly let homeless people in to have a free burger and fries. Nothing's worse than having a meal with your pals or your family where three or five seats down is a fentanyl zombie who is screaming random gibberish and throwing ranch cups everywhere while asking you if it's fucking Christmas in mid-October. Every child and parent in that room was either scared or watching this lady while the waitress and the Christian manager assured us everything was fine.

Yeah I went for the first time in about 8 years the other day. It was actually good as fuck, I was really surprised at how much I liked the food. They've stepped their quality up quite a bit from what I can recall. Had a donatos pizza, their fudge cookies and steak fries a bt ago. I can see why people would show up for dessert and endless fries with a cheesy bacon sauce. The pizza was extremely thin but not bad tasting, just surprisingly thin.

for suburbancore, its pretty good. onion rings are great, fries are good, shakes are good. the "finest" patties are a notable step up from the regular patty and they should use that patty for all their burgers.

quality does vary between stores. I have found busier stores have better food and better service (PNW stores, where it's always been popular). The stores I've been to in Austin and the chicago burbs were not very well ran, and it showed. Surprisingly, the store in Fort Wayne was busy on a tuesday lunch, my food was out in 10 min, and it was damn tasty.

Bottom line though: it's too expensive for what you get. if you're in a quality food city, you can find a way better burger for the money.

I had Red Robin on a road trip a few years ago. Wasn't too hungry from sitting in a car all day so I ordered a wedge salad.
Brown, wilted brick of lettuce with some pre-shredded cheese and a small amount of bacon bits, all swimming in a gallon of white glop (ranch/bleu cheese/caear, don't remember which).

Absolutely standard Sysco food that isn't special in any meaningful way. The fries which were always bottomless, they only give you like 15 fries at a time, bummer.
The best part about it is you can go there and you do not have to have any decorum, I eat there with my family because they love talking about their bowel movements and gossip and curse and any place else they can be heard from across the room but there we are practically invisible. There will be clapping and singing to some guy and kids jumping on tables and screaming etc so its a very laid back place.
