it's juicy and sweet, mellow taste otherwise, as in, not flavourful
The texture is slightly creamy/smooth thanks to high amount of pectin, if you press the juice it will come out like a pan sauce and not runny like orange
overall, solid 7-9 out of 10, the worst dragonfruit is still better than the average of other fruits

Mushy water. It has almost no flavor at all. They just flavor stuff like it because it looks “cool” and “exotic”, when in reality it’s the most bland and disappointing fruit. I’d crave it if I was walking through the desert without water for a week, but other than that I can happily live without it.

It tastes and feels almost exactly like a kiwi, but blander. It's totally inoffensive, unless you for some reason hate kiwis.

the white flesh variety doesnt really taste like anything and isnt worth paying for imo but the dark red/purple varieties are very sweet and juicy. there are a few different orange/yellow varieties that are also good but the fruits are generally smaller. easy to grow if you live somewhere warm.

Like a kiwi, less sweet and sour

I got some dragonfruit juice from Costco because it was on sale. The initial taste is great and smooth and juicy, but the only problem is is that they have all those seeds in the middle, which have a spicy woody-stemmed weeds smell/taste. Kinda ruins the whole thing.

Depends on where you get it. The pretty pink ones at normal grocery stores are just mildly sweet with very soft flesh and some crunchy seeds. If you go to Chinatown and get the ones that aren't bred for show they have pretty nice fruity flavor and more sweetness with the same texture.
