I did the hot ones challenge once with trivia questions instead of an interview. That was a lot of fun. Good social event and an excuse to taste test sauces.

I did the Blazin' challenge at Buffalo Wild Wings. One of the worst decisions in my life. The issue isn't that it's spicy, it's because it's a straight up choking hazard. One wing every 30 seconds is miserable even without being covered in caustic shit.

I just got the new season box for the first time because they're usually sold out but I've done it with my own collection before. It usually goes over well and everyone has fun until a heavy scotch bonnet carribean sauce and the mood changes. Superhot reactions are hilarious, the scorpions and anything with a load of fruit and flavor makes the intense heat sneak up on you. I made a blueberry reaper pancake sauce that would just keep building the more you ate until you wanted to die but couldn't stop.

The hardcore shit does weird things to people. Women handle it very well and get kinda horny afterwards. Tasty sauce with flavorful peppers makes it more bearable but there is no middle ground between kinda spicy and fiery death that gives you the squirts at 3am. Fuck restaurant challenge shit, it all tastes like an ashtray.

I did some large breakfast thing one time after watching a football game (it was on at like 3am). I annihilated it because I was starving. As I hate mushrooms I asked for no mushrooms so I didn't "qualify" as completing it, not that it mattered since all it was was a photo on the wall.

I did one in high school at a Fuddruckers. The challenge was to eat a 3lb burger in under an hour. If you did it you got a $20 gift card and your picture on the wall. Finished it in 40 minutes, and honestly it wasn't that bad.
That location closed not long after though, and apparently other locations added a 1lb side of fries to the challenge, which I bet would make it a lot harder.

It was a 30 inch pizza challenge. Two people have to eat it in 1 hour or you have to pay for it, otherwise it's free. I only ate 2 slices before feeling like I was going to die. My friend ate 3 but didn't eat the crust. Then they let our families dig in after we lost and paid for it, and we still had leftovers.

Tried the Homewrecker at Hillbilly Hot Dogs. The only way I could have gotten the free shirt would have been to soak the bun in water, it was dry and chewy as hell. The rest of the dog is decent: the frank has some kind of casing that peels off the end and would be a choking hazard if I was going for speed. The best part was a layer of onions and green bell peppers under the dog that were grilled absolutely perfectly with the right amount of caramelization.
