I cook every meal I eat.
Microwave is for reheating coffee.
Haven't been to a restaurant in months.
I don't eat fast food at all anymore.
I eat eggs, steak, and chicken thighs more than anything else.
I need to eat more leafy greens.
I don't know my budget, probably a bit more than the average person since I am a bit picky about food quality.

I only buy food I want. So grass-finished beef and organs, organic fruit and raw honey, raw dairy (hopefully directly from a farmer this month), and free range eggs. It's just an estimate. I know I spend more than $500 on beef and about $80 on eggs every month. gonna be honest I only eat at a restaurant if my mom or uncle wants to treat me somewhere. I eat out with them perhaps 10+ times a month and I only cover the tip.

if i'm going to fast food i'm only using the app for deals and steals, and I like to loiter in the restaurant to use the air condition and bathroom and play on my phone for 2 hours
>What do you eat the most?
i'm an alcoholic so the answer is probably malt beverages. I mean those calories add up. after my drunken rampage I indulge in drunk foods, something with a lot of cheese, bread, meat, spicy, pasta. in the morning i might wake up and start deep frying chicken nuggets. I eat mostly anything and everything but it's a lot of fat, a lot of salt, a lot of flavor, and a lot of dairy.
>What do you wish you ate more of?
I want to stop being an alcoholic eventually and start cooking exotic foods and trying out new recipes. I want to stop being cheap and actually go out to popular restaurants and try their menus. I have a large range of taste that is really only limited by my budget at the moment.
>How much money do you spend on food/ingredients?
I live with family so in reality, not very much of my own money is spent on food, a lot of times they pay for me at restaurants or i'm gifted leftovers after a family bbq that I didn't attend. To be frankly honest I spend only $100-$140 on food per month.

Mr 5'4 153 pounds.

I cook all my meals whether on the hot plate or in the microwave. I don't buy ready meals. I can do good pasta in the microwave. I never eat in restaurants. I haven't got takeaway in wait let me check...2020 I ordered a large lamb shish kebab with hummus and potato wedges.

I eat a lot of eggs, cheese, milk and oats. I wish I ate more chicken, fried preferably.

I work on a principle of £3 a day. So when doing my online shopping for say a month my budget is £90 and maybe I'd put that up to £100 for extras like spices and condiments.

I'm around there as well, but that's a total food and dining bill.

Between alcohol, having people over to eat, wanting better ingredients, and just going out to a restaurant, 900 gets hit pretty fast. If you go out to a nice restaurant in my area bare min it's $40+ per person. If you go out 1-2 times a week that's already $500 for 2 people.

Also I like to use food as entertainment. I'll buy nicer ingredients and make fancy shit cuz I want to. Way cheaper than going to a restaurant and comparable to most other hobbies. You need to eat, might as well make it a bit fun some times.

my budget is $200 but realistically probably close to $400

I'm fat mainly because every weekend I'll drink a couple cases of beer, a couple frozen pizzas, and a couple bags of takis. However, even when I cook whole foods from scratch (pork carnitas, chicken katsu, spaghetti with homemade sauce, chicken teriyaki) I'm cooking for an army and I have quite the appetite.
