Yes, but the closest gas station to me is Wawa where I can get a hot meatball or chicken strip hoagie, mac and cheese with buffalo sauce or chicken corn chowder, a hand made iced salted caramel macchiato or hot cappuccino, some other sort of beverage and a warm cream cheese stuffed pretzel (side of marinara sauce to dip it in, trust me).

When I lived in hawaii I'd often get spicy raw tuna inarizuhi from the nearby convenience store. Turnover was high enough that I didn't care, it usually sold out each day. I miss it.

I actually eat gas station food every day because I work in a factory that makes it. All you can eat sandwiches for free, provided they are consumed on-site. The sandwich in OP's pic may well have come from my factory, based on the container. I can even see the little bump that causes no end of headaches as it can cause a bad seal.

>>18318817
I barely consider wawa to be gas station food, if you mean its sandwiches. Its a gas station that has a fast food sandwich restaurant in it. I love it and wish we had one nearby.

I'm getting a superamerica right between the freeway and my house and I'm excited.

not true, sometimes they get too much inert gas so they will be a bit puffy. they get vacuumed, gassed, and sealed in a 3x3 grid of 9, sometimes the gas has a hard time reaching the middle one so the ones on the outside will have a little bit more.

Totally.
Sometimes those sandwiches are the only thing that hits the spot.
I'd rather have one of those microwave burgers or burritos but none of the gas stations I frequent have microwaves. Probably to keep the crackheads from loitering or burning the place down, so I can understand that. It's just annoying and I miss the old school convenience store experience.

Do they still have those hot-dog-shaped cheeseburgers there? There aren't any 7Elevens in Italy, at least not that I've ever seen, and I haven't been to one in years but I liked the hot-dog-shaped cheeseburgers they [used to?] sell.

I used to work the overnight in a gas station sub shop for 2 years right out of HS(was a colossal fuckup) and swear I gained 50 pounds over that period. Every night, subs piled high with whatever the fuck I wanted, cookies, mozzrella sticks, mac and cheese wedges, cheeseburger eggsrolls.
