this is kind of a joke but in reality you think "what do mexicans eat" "what do italians eat" "what do asians eat" and kinda end up where this thread is now.

Think about it:

Cheap healthy carbs: Pasta, Rice, Whole Potatoes

Cheap healthy protein: Beans, Boneless skinless chix, Milk, Cheese

Cheap healthy fats: Butter, Olive Oil Classic (cooking olive oil), Cheese

Oh shit and I forgot because it's been a while since I've been super poor: A GIANT BOTTLE OF BBQ SAUCE.

You're going to end up with a lot of bland carbs and proteins. people are always saying buy hot sauce. Fuck that get BBQ.

If you can't get by on that you're massively retarded. Under $100 is where it starts being a challenge.

2 meals a day meals 60 meals a month. Skip breakfast or have coffee because you aren't a baby who needs food first thing in the morning.

All these prices are in AUD, by the way:
$65 worth of chicken is enough for a month. 2 meals a day, 6 days a week, have a meatless Monday.
$10 on 4kg of rice
$15 on 6kg of frozen mixed veg
$7 on 5kg of potatoes
$5 on dried beans
$5 for 3kg of spaghetti
$6 on 3kg of canned tomatoes
$10 on ketchup, BBQ sauce and some kind of hot sauce
All totaling $123 AUD, or about $84.48 USD. I could probably cut out half of that chicken and swap it for more beans and potatoes if I really had to tighten my belt.

One month is not enough time to really get nutritional deficiency.
