>George Dickel is the superior Tennessee whiskey
Debatable. It’s slightly sweeter due to a bit more corn and a bit less barley than Jack, so it just depends on if you prefer a slightly sweeter whiskey or not.
I consider them both gold standards of the category. I do prefer Dickel’s single barrel to Jack’s though.
I’m also willing to bet they’re the only Tennessee Whiskies 98% of people can name without googling.

Liquor manager at a grocery store here
I carry the basic Blanton's and we sell it for $79 a bottle, I order 2 cases every week but I only get 2 cases maybe every 2 months or so, and they all sell out in a day or two.
Turns out, all the liquor shops around that also carry it mark it up to $150+/bottle so everyone waits for the grocery stores to get them instead

I've only had this pick as far as their Rye goes. it's not overly in your face with the mashbill. Reminds me of Rittenhouse with just a little bump in proof and no Heaven Hill notes(i.e. doesnt taste cheap) but other than that its pretty similar to there regular bourbon since they are high rye already. overall 8.5/10, would buy again.
