I've spent my life in the food business. It took me two seconds to view and judge that meal. 3/10 at best because I am partial to honey mustard. I see the plastic container covered in condensation. Your tendies might have been crispy an hour ago when they were pulled out of the friar. But they no longer are, also judging by the color and consistency of the breading I can tell that the oil in the friar hasn't been changed in at least a week. That broccoli has been double steamed to mush and those fries have reached the same temperature as the counter they are laying on. Also I forgot take a point away because your honey mustard steamed, there is nothing more fowl than warm mayo based sauces. You could have done better with walmart brand tendies in your own oven.

No I've never worked at that shithole. But I have had a lifetime of tendies from every possible place you can think of. It is the ultimate judge of a restaurant, if they go out of their way to make good tendies than you know that they will care about the important things. Those do not pass the smell test.
Funny enough the best tenders I ever had in my life came from Chedders. Almost 20 years ago, they used to make them with the flakiest batter I had ever seen. Always perfectly golden brown, juices flowing from the cracks the meat just melting in your mouth and with a selection of choice house made sauces. I went back a few years and tried them again and they looked closer to the ones in the OP. Sad how everything gets worse over time. Almost no one cares about quality anymore.

For some reason I imagine that I would feel great shame if I ever ordered anything from applebees. Popeyes I fear is far too inconsistent to be worth trying, so I stick with chickfila.

Applebees taste much better when you go into it expecting slightly above fast food quality. It doesn't taste bad but there are absolutely better options, but sometimes a couple drinks and some applebees sloppa with the guys is a fun time

Honey mustard dip/dressings often have mayo as a key ingredient. I'll admit the spelling errors were a big goof though but pretty funny given the context of talking about bird meat.

>> No.18240026

I worked at applebees and you can tell this shit is 40+ min old. The microwaved broccoli in the container is a good attempt at making it look fresh though.
But to be fair, the tenders look old and dead after 3 minutes of being out of the friar.
