based nacho enjoyer. maybe you can relate to my rant. is it just me, or was there a switch from melting shredded cheese to using some kind of cheese sauce like 10 years ago? i used to get nachos with my family whenever we'd go out to eat, and i specifically remember being able to pick up the chips and the cheese would be stretchy and sometimes you'd have to lift your hand up extra high to break the cheese tentacle. but now, everything is just cheese sauce or queso or something. nachos are still great, but i feel that melting shredded cheese over chips is far superior to just pouring hot cheese sauce over them.

My parents went thru a phase where they made deep fried cream cheese jalapeno poppers all the time and that was back when jalapenos were actually spicy. They were so amazing. They would also bread garden fresh zucchini slices in cornmeal catfish breading and fry them, fuck they were amazing too.
