Wasnt like that for me. Teachers decided on what the class could or could not do, and most had restrictions. Kids could bring whatever they wanted to whoever they wanted. Made interesting situations where the quiet short kid would being a giant vase of flowers and box of chocolates on stacy's desk and get nothing reciprocated. Or someone would give a love note and get rejected and start crying at recess.
