I've done that. It seems like I can plan out flavors for something a lot better after fasting. I can put in the perfect amount of garlic, onion, spices, etc. without having to keep tasting and adjusting.

This. I don't eat for 3+ days sometimes because I really don't get hungry unless I'm bored. If I'm at work or home occupied, I could go without eating for a while. When I do eat, it tastes amazing.
