Tried dip for the first time a few days ago and hated it. Way too much nicotine. Put a decent pinch in and was hella sick for hours. Sticking to snus. Haven’t tried these new cigs yet though.

Any advice for a longtime cigarette chain smoker trying to cut back to something more manageable like a pipe or something in the evenings?
I've attempted this twice in the past and pipes just generally seem lacking and unfulfilling by comparison. Cant help but think I'm just not smoking a pipe correctly or i have shitty tobacco or something idk.

Pipes and cigars aren't good alternatives, they're great for after you've quit but still want to smoke on occasion. Sorry anon but you're going to have to bite the bullet and either quit cold turkey or switch to vapes. If I was to start chain smoking again I'd go vapes no hesitation, just make sure you get an actual setup and not some premade cartridge shit like Juuls or whatever.

Inhale with a pipe. VaPer is pretty comparable to cigarette flavor. I switched from stoges to vaping to a corncob pipe and I feel like I could stop pipe smoking if I wanted, or at least only retrohale my smoking. I was away for 2.5 days without any tobacco and had 0 cravings for it.

Not that anon.
is tobaco that you inhale. It's like a fine powder. You use just a little pinch and don't snort it like cocaine. Your aim is to inhale just enogh to the tobacco reach the mucose in the top of your nose.
It's very stimulant, I'm usually very letargic and grumpy when I'm sleepy but I can go until morning when using snuff. I consider it the best party inclined tobacco.

What's a good smokeless tobacco to start with? I'm a pretty habitual cigar guy, but my new girlfriend hates the smell of smoke and I don't wanna quit entirely, so I'm looking at alternatives. And I know they're all different, so I'm looking for something more like cigars than cigarettes if at all possible

I use tobacco in just about every form other than cigarettes (haven't ever touched them).

Pipes:
Big fan of virginia and virginia perique mixtures, also like classic american burley blends with light toppings (think prince albert, Edgeworth Ready Rubbed, Field and Stream, etc.)

Chewing/Dip:
Chew is preferable to dip/snus/nic pouches, imo. The latter hit way too hard. Chew gives you a similar relaxing level of nicotine as a pipe does.

Haven't tried nasal snuff yet, but I've added stuff from Mr. Snuff into my cart and backed out a few times.

Any recs?

Ive been nicotine free for ~1.5 months now and cig free for ~2.5 with a small 5 cig in a row hiccup about a month ago when i got angry. I actually havent had any pangs in quite a while. If you realize how little benefits this shit gives you its really easy to quit.

Where can I find good swedish snus? It seems to be the safest way to get all of the neurological benefits of tobacco. Nicotine is only part of the equation. I need me some harmaloids and whatever else is in there

I'd vape tobacco but nicotine is the opposite of an expectorant and even without the carcinogens generated during combustion can trap toxic shit from your environment in your lungs

https://www.generalsnus.com/StoreLocator/

This site will tell you what local stores might carry it. It's not perfectly up to date though, so call ahead to verify they have it or be prepared to have to try a few stores.

If you want to place a bulk order online then there are a bunch of sites to use. Snus24 seems to have the lowest prices though.
