Serves you right for being an obnoxious faggot. Order fucking coffee then.
No restaurant, including them, does it with soda and shit.

Light ice is subjective though, there's no industry standards for what light ice is so they could give you 2 less ice cubes and say it's "light"

yes. historically it's been illegal to water down beverages to a certain amount. it's the same logic that a bakers dozen came to be.

This isn’t watering down.
This is ice, used in an iced coffee drink which an employee has to mix, and where the amount of ice used is likely prescribed as part of the recipe.
It isn’t a fountain drink, and literally no restaurant would upcharge you for a “no ice” fountain drink.
Think of it like this;
If I went to a bar and ordered a coke, I’d get a full glass of coke and ice.
If I went to a bar and ordered coke with no ice, I’d get a glass full of coke.
But if I ordered a mixed drink typically served with ice, and asked for no ice, it wouldn’t give me more drink. The measurements would be the same, just no ice. So it would be at a lower level in the glass if placed next to its properly iced counterpart.
And nobody at a bar would complain about that.
But the difference is that this is a fast-food chain iced flavored coffee latte whatever situation, and for whatever reason, people think they’re paying for the amount of cup, and not the amount of drink, because they’re basing their expectations on fountain soda.
These same people would complain that they’re being cheated if they were served the same volume of drink sans ice, because the cup wasn’t filled to the top.

What condiment(s) do you use with your collard greens?
Your answer will make the difference as to whether we can be friends, or me kicking you in the nuts.

Everyone always looked at me weird for never putting ice in my beverages. Fact is though you get more drink and don't have to worry about ice falling on your face when trying to drink the whole cup. Same deal with eating cereal and milk together, it makes no sense.

you pay for 16oz of fluid(or whatever the advertised drink size is), but the cup is larger so there's room for ice
if you don't get ice they either still only give you 16oz, or charge you more to fill to the top of the cup

Do this every time. And yes, it is different each time but I get more of what I paid for each time vs. the alternative. Fountain drinks come out around 42 degrees Fahrenheit. They don't need ice to be cold. Regarding coffee, I am a man and only drink Americano or black coffee. Cappuccino, if I feel fancy.
