When's the last time you went out in the morning and had a nice, relaxing, indulgent, sit-down breakfast?

>> No.18166063

I'm not an instagram thot, so never.

I'm sorry, I forgot that Instagram thots are the only people that ever go out for breakfast.

Wednesday morning. I went to a diner that will make you anything on the menu anytime they're open so I got a double bacon cheese burger minus bun of course, and a nice side salad.

2 years? Since covid?
Enjoyed a drive-through ciabatta egg sandwich with sriracha packet at Starbucks about a week ago.

I prefer to make my own indulgence. Usually egg bacon n hashbrowns, or a fat stack of pancakes. And a cuppa tea, if I'm feeling extra indulgent spiced chai with lots of milk. All I'm missing is someone to clean up after me... and maybe that bowl of fresh fruit...

That's not what this thread is about. Why did you bother to even post?

I haven't done that in years since Covid, but for about a year or so I would have breakfast at a little café right when they opened once a week. I was usually the only customer around for at least the first 15 minutes.
Comfiest days of my life. I'd walk there on deserted streets through the city, then walk to the shops before they got busy.

Does a Bloody Mary and avocado toast from the avocado-toast-bar at an airport lounge count?
It seriously hit the spot at 5am

I went on to do it while traveling, though again it's been quite some time since then, but having a nice breakfast while traveling is delightful.

I tried yesterday but it wasn't very good
>I can make better coffee at home
>I can make a better bloody mary at home or just have a glass of wine
>My water at home tastes better
as for the food, I only went out because I didn't want to fuck around making hollandaise right, but the chef didn't feel like it either that day and sent it out broken. I just left

A couple of months ago. I had biscuits and gravy with a side of scrambled eggs and grits, my friend had eggs Benedict with smoked salmon.
I don't go to diners often because I like making breakfast at home. We went out for breakfast after partying the night before.

A long time ago. Honestly, I don't understand the urge to go out for breakfast unless you just have no food at home. In the morning I'm slow and sluggish and the last thing I feel like doing is getting dressed and going out.

I live in NYC and I see tons of people out for brunch and coffee on all days of the week, and the most popular places are always packed. And if a place doesn't take reservations, you have to get there early. I don't know anyone that would want to do that, but apparently these people exist.

This might be more up your alley. These were some cute little sandwiches I had at New Chitose Airport for breakfast. I'm a different anon but who cares?
