Specifically smaller shows such as picrel (The Cook and the Chef) not mass market over edited crap like Jamie Oliver and etc.

Some anonymous dude here posted a massive Emeril archive a couple years ago, that might not meet OP's definition of "smaller" but the "as seen on TV" 90s production vibe with the audience, overblown lighting, and negro band is actually pretty comfy. Early Food Network in general is pretty bussin fr no cap.

Nothing is more comfy than when you go to a hotel and you turn the AC all the way down, then climb under the covers and Food Network has a Diners Drive Ins and Dives marathon going. And you just lay in bed eating delivery watching the Mayor of Flavor Town do his thing.
