I've often wondered if humans would be better off if we all stayed around 4 feet tall.
We would build everything to suit that size so mostly things would be the same.
But we would require less food, and fewer resources of all kinds. Land and housing would be cheaper. Vehicles would be smaller and more fuel efficient.
And the smaller you are the softer you fall. The strength to weight ratio works for you so you're less likely to sustain injuries in falls. And the strength to weight ratio would also work towards construction materials.

There are only 2 problems with this.
1. Animals would suddenly be much bigger and harder to deal with.
2. Electronics would be larger since we're already making the technology as small as we can manage.
