I worked at a hotel in my first year at college and I was offered some homemade sloppy joe looking sandwiches from an African family which I accepted and later threw out later in the night because it was so bad. The only other time I was offered a full meal by a guest was from an Iranian family and it was some lamb with rice which was delicious.
