Ausfag here. I was born in the UK and got introduced to this shit pretty young. Does anyone else love it in sandwiches instead of mayo? That vinegar bite makes it so much better.

Praise mayo has a vinegar taste to it and is far superior to anything else.

This ain't mayo. It's way bightier with vinegar. Underrated imo. It's in the dressing section of ozfag supermarkets but it is definitely a good condiment for sandwiches.

you might not understand that the american Miracle Whip is scoffed by most for being an eggless/war time rationing alternative to mayonnaise. One of the substitutions in the recipe is adding sugar and more vinegar to tweak the flavor missing from the egg. Added sugar is not tolerated by most people, but loved by others.

My own grandparents like Durkee dressing, which upped the eggyolks, plus a touch of mustard. It was how my grandfather made a sandwich. My mom liked some kind of pickle olive enhanced sandwich spread.

That's genuinely interesting anon. I had no idea. The thing I posted in the op is still all about egg. Is that miracle whip still a thing?

So your father is Australian and you are not. Pommy poofter.
I'm Australian. Mother is Australian. Father is British. That makes me Australian since I am born here.

>Is that miracle whip still a thing?
it's not unpopular in households that grew up having it on hand to make potato salad, cole slaw, deviled eggs, and such. The tang is noticable.

Like the anti-ketchup people, the sugar is just too sweet. American company Duke's mayo is made with no added sugar, and rather than white distilled vinegar, you'll taste apple cider vinegar.

I've been forgoing salad cream recently because there's some sort of shortage and it's only available in tiny bottles for like four fucking quid. It's not my go to for sandwiches, but every so often I will crave a brown bread, salad cream and smoked ham. Also critical for cold pizza and shitty deli quiches.

That would be a bit spicy though right? I like horse raddish but the main thing that makes me crave salad cream is it's got a shit load of vinegar in it. It's basically creamy vinegar.
Here is a sandwich I just made. Seasoned chicken breast, shit load of salad cream, extra sharp cheddar on soft white bread.
Simple as.

You aren't australian either if your dad is british, what an insecure faggot.

My parents, grandparents and great grand parents were all born in Australia, great great grandparents came from Scotland to colonise.

If you live in Melbourne or Sydney you aren't australian either.

That looks pretty good, I like using rye bread a lot. I'll do the seasoned chicken breast but it's pretty much soy sauce and key lime juice then get that to room temperature, melt some swiss cheese on it and put that on some crusty rye.
Good times were had by all.

Lettuce, cucumber, tomato, carrot, beetroot, spring onion, ham, boiled egg, coleslaw and a big dollop of Salad Cream. Nothing better.

It is better than mayo because its not too heavy. It's great with chips or in sandwiches. Nice and tangy.
