Back when I was in middle school, my dad moved to the city while my mom and I stayed behind so I could have one last summer with my friends before moving away. Every weekend we'd drive down to visit my dad and on the way to and from, we'd stop by a 7-11 halfway during the trip. I'd get two cheeseburger hotdogs topped with onions and relish. Sometimes I'd add the nacho cheese if I was feeling extra gross.
But they were delicious to me.

When I was a little kid, my parents would take us to 7/11 after church and I'd get one of these bad boys and absolutely load it the fuck up with EVERYTHING at the toppings bar: nacho cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickles, onions, etc until it was just a disgusting mess inside the little cardboard holder. The bun was always stale and horrible and I added so much cheese that I could basically only taste that, but I didn't care because I was a dumbass kid.

I can't tell if 7/11 turned into a shithole or it just always was that way and I never noticed

i can't afford 7-11, never could. i'd do a free slurpee yearly, but once in a great while i'd be off with relatives and they stopped. they were ALWAYS out of the roller item I wanted, so I'd settle.
one year they did have the buffalo chicken thing, turns out it wasn't buffalo chicken and cheese. it was snot without flavor, and I eat even cheaper gas station food.
