faggot op aside, unless youre wearing your sunday best and are going out in 2 minutes, aprons are gay and pointless, all my clothes are filthy anyway

I put on an a proper, not half- apron when using the mixer, or making gravy on the stovetop at a reduction kind of thing, big roaster reducing drippings on the stovetop. I pretty much only cook bacon in the microwave nowadays, since the water injected weight is such a shitshow of splattering. Apron goes on if shallow pan frying, like some okra or fried green tomatoes.

If you own nicer clothing, oil spots do suck. I also change my clothes to the oldest or already ruined Ts for BBQ feast nights. Odds are great there will be something on the shirt at the end of the meal, and it was ready for the trash anyway.
