Awesome. I mistakenly bought a pack once. When I ate the pack of hot dogs that evening, they tasted great but I did notice that they looked a bit "off". I liked them a lot so I fished the package out of the garbage to get the brand name and saw that they were actually plant-based.
Since then I switched to plant-based where I can. Plant-based bacon, burgers, etc. They all taste way better than the "real" thing.

biggest issue theyre weirdly smooth and textureless compared to a normal hot dog, similar to like tofu i guess. the flavor is noticeably different than a normal one but i kinda like it

Some are better than others. Field Roast makes the best by far. The biggest thing is that they cook far differently than a regular hot dog. I honestly like them more than most hot dogs just cause it's not overly salty or fatty, and one link has around 20g of protein. It makes a good light lunch. I usually pick a good fresh sausage over hot dogs anyways for better meat, protien, and almost no nitrates.
