How are you guys holding up on the sriracha sauce shortage? Do you have any go-to hot sauces you recommend?

>> No.18076251

havent had sriracha in years. its not as good since they changed the formula anyways. habanero carrot is the best dont matter the brand

>> No.18076277

I've consumed maybe less than 5 grams of sriracha over 20 years. I'll do fine without it. Nothing beats garlic flavoured chilli oil.

>> No.18076322 [DELETED]

Shortages of the leading brand is a good thing.
Maybe this will force some of you NPCs to try something new. Its not like there aren't hundreds of other excellent hot sauces out there. It will not be missed at all.

>> No.18076360

I've been putting some hot sauce on the ginger root before figging. what a wild way to take it. I suggest all you bros try it out to get the REAL hot sauce experience

Did they change the formula? I remember being addicted to the stuff in the late 00s when it became the coolest meme but last few years I really haven't been into it at all. Figured my tastes changed but maybe they did something to it so it's not as good as it used to be

Sriracha may be light in the Scovilles, but damn if it ain't a mainstay in any hothead's arsenal. It doesn't get you flushed and sweating but it's a solid hit that help scratch that itch. And sometimes you don't WANT a major burn - that's where Sriracha comes in.

The shortage hits hard. All the heat freaks I know stocked up on a few bottles and are waiting out the crunch. Sometimes you take the lower heat options for granted for sure. Hang in there hotheads!

My main focus this year is smoked/ sundried paprika powder, cayenne powder, and pickled pepperoncinis.

I'm growing lots of interesting unique, and superhot varietals as well. Apocalypse chocolate, scorpion, 7pot yellow, taj minion army, scotch bonnet, cap 691 peppers, and a handful of others I can't remember.

I love super spicy food and growing them is my favorite way to get my fix. Fresh superhots are on another level.

Picture is a copay cabai pepper. Medium low spicy, but real long boys and apparently very flavorful.
