I'd assume so, I'd do my best to try and adhere and respect their culture as much as possible considering the stereotype of how much Japanese people hate foreigners. But considering how Hawaii still is today it's understandable.

There aren’t many, and Hitachino is one of the better ones.
Personally I’m fine with the typical Japanese adjunct pale lagers because Japan does them so damn well and they’re beyond cheap.
