If I were roasting this beef for you, what sides would you want with it?

Hard mode: no mashed potatoes

Id say some mushrooms like picrel and some white rice.
Other than that maybe some tomatoes cut into cubes with some tuna, olive oil and salt

>> No.18072549

Sauteed spinach, Neapolitan stuffed artichokes and/or mushrooms, butter-braised carrots and a loaf of good crusty bread.

>do people really dislike them?
They dislike that they can't cook them properly and end up with not so good eats because they splashed too much lemon juice over them and turned them brown.

I did not. Randalls != Ralphs. Carry on.
Also, I think they have Safeway elsewhere, too.

Not that guy, but I dislike them cooked from frozen. They taste horridly sweet to me. Cooked from fresh or gtfo.
I like to butter braise them or make brussells sprout risotto or add them to soups.

>> No.18073532

>>18073506
Not either of those guys but 1 I totally agree they're crap from frozen. 2 apparently there's a chemical in them that some people can taste and some can't. If you can they don't taste good.

option 1:
Long Grain Wild Rice
Cheesy Spaghetti
Steamed Broccoli
Breadsticks

option 2:
The Roast is actually cooked a long time with Potatoes with butter, over thr hours spent on the stove it simply falls apart along with the oily softened potatoes that melt in your mouth. A proper amount of seasoning salt (lowrys) and pepper is necessary.
Garlic Bread goes along with it
Spinach Greens with a little bit of ham in it on the side.

Salad has no place at the table with Roast/Steak

also forgot to mention it WILL be served with as much A1 Steak Sauce as I could possibly want. Because I eat it on steak, burgers, and fries - and I will even put it on that meat & potatoes (just not really on the potatoes).

The cheap 1$ bottles of Great Value steak sauce (usually blue, or orange label) will work because they're about like maybe 80% as good as A1 Sauce.
