Mine's simple. Mix enough Duke's mayonnaise to the yolks to bring it to the desired creaminess, add the mixture back to the eggs, then sprinkle with season salt, paprika, and freshly cracked pepper then add one kalamata olive slice per deviled egg.

I've mixed in avacados into mine before.
It was kind of a St. Patrick's day deal, but still turned out alright

The Filipinas at my local grocery store make awesome deviled eggs. Asked my Filipina wife to find out how they make them. She showed me how but the just didn't taste as good. Asked her why and she said they do them wrong:(

The best recipe is the normal regular recipe everyone is familiar with, that has mayo, mustard and paprika.

Nobody likes discovering that weird shit has been mixed into conventional and widely standardized popular foods, so stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

Mustard can be spicy or mild depending on how it's prepared. I think mixing mustard powder with water and aging it before adding the vinegar makes it milder. But if you mix mustard powder with liquid and immediately eat some it's going to be hot. It's not spicy like peppers but it'll burn your sinuses a bit.

That's the name for a specific type of mustard.
