Stayed in a Spanish village in the middle of nowhere, in Spain’s least visited region.
Too tired to drive at night, so went to the only restaurant in the area.
It was empty so I was a bit anxious (no shit, the village only has 30 inhabitants and it was in January when everybody cancelled their vacation because of meme flu).

It turned out to be a feast, with so many extremely local dishes I never had elsewhere, very fresh, with cheap beer. I was with my mother, and we order 4 plates and everything was perfect. The owner was truly nice as well, and gave us a dessert for free, as a way to welcome us (we were the first foreigners in his restaurant, he owned the business for less than a month back then).
And it was darn cheap. 25 euros for both of us.

A restaurant where the waitress had excellent hips and very nice hair. She said she liked my eyes and I felt happy and told her I liked her hair. But I didn't tell her how attractive her hips were because I thought that would sound sleazy. I had pani puri, onion pakoda, and saag. All of it very nice. She said "good choice" when I ordered saag, which also made me happy. I liked her a lot, but knew she wasn't wanting to be my girlfriend so I didn't try asking. But sometimes when I feel lonely I still like to imagine if I had married her.

I went to Chick-fil-a today, was listening to the song "Smile Meditation" in the drive through. Weather was nice, but hot. When I go to the window, the the lady I have a crush on handed me my food, smiled and said "Hi, good to see you. How are you?" I then said "Good. How are you?" She said "I'm doing well." Then I said "Good," smiled and drove off. She's really pretty, and seems like a genuinely good person. So that was nice.

I was on a train to Busan and trying to figure out my next step. Managed to find a well regarded Samgyetang restaurant, which I hadn't heard of (didn't know much about Korean food, obviously).
Not only was it easy to get too, it was also early enough that nobody else had arrived.
I got to enjoy a wonderful meal that was a new experience in a peaceful setting.
As I was finishing people began coming in. Great timing.

Central in Lima, Peru.

I've been to a lot of top end restaurants in US, including a half dozen Michelin 3 star places. Central was the first and only restaurant I've ever been to that really expanded my vision of what food could be and how beautiful of an expression of a culture and place food is. Just stunning experience.

So you say. The concept of the menu was the individual biomes of Peru. So each course (like 15-17 total I think) was from a different area: tropical reef, deep ocean, low desert, high deserts, mountains, jungle foothills, etc and used ingredients sourced locally from those areas. Literally nothing in the meal could be found anywhere outside Peru, and each dish not only had the ingreidents but the cultural background of those areas, the presentation, etc. It was unbelievable food. Such a special meal.

This dish was piranhas. The heads were decorative. The little bowls had a broth made from piranha bones and herbs that grow along Amazon river in Peruvian jungle. The lttile puffs were smoked/grilled pastry filled with piranha meat.

Whole meal was about 3 hours. After we finished, we had a tour around the kitchen and the research area where they catalog and test the stuff they've found from expeditions into the country. We met the head chef who talked with us for a few minutes and took some pictures. Service was super great, very welcoming and enthusiastic, not stiff at all.

I've had great food at a lot of places and little family owned businesses are some of the best. But I have to say, the absolute best I've ever had was at a supremely expensive in Baltimore called "Charleston" I grew up in Baltimore and took my wife there to see the inner harbor, crack dealers and dilapidated neighborhoods. I heard about Charleston and since it was our anniversary, I decided to splurge. You order a 3, 4 or 5 course meal and can pick each course. We went for the 5 and I had foods I've never had before, like Sweetbread (hint, it has nothing to do with bread! It's veal pancreas!) and a Maryland Crabcake. My wife had her meals and I got her the wine sampler too. The service was out of the world. The food was beautiful and tasty. It felt like every crumb on every piece of bread was in the right position. In the end, my bill with tip came to just under $400.00 and yes, I would do it again.

And... I got laid that night!

It was a good night.

I was at a popeyes and I just ate some fried chicken. The breasts were juicy, and the buns were soft and warm. Afterwards, the divisiobvbn manager of Popeyes came up to my table and asked me how the meal was.I said I was satisfied, but the meal lacked a certain je ne sais quoi. He apologized profusely, and said he had something to show me that would make up for it.
He lead me to the back of the popeyes, to a room soaked from floor to ceiling in blood. In the center of it was a live horse, chained by all four legs to the structural supports of the warehouse like room. As I watched, employees of the popeyes cut large sections from the horse, which was whinneying and screaming in horror, the remaining sections of its body covered with festering sores and a froth of sweat.
The popeyes employees took the chunks of horseflesh and sliced them into pieces, then they rooted around through the bags of trash strewn around the room to find discarded chicken bones.
They quickly tenderized the meat with sledgehammers and fed it into a machine which formed the horsemeat around the bones, then they breaded and deepfried it.
I asked the division manager why he had led me back to this place, and he pointed at the steed's rump, the diseased asshole puckering rythmically with terror, squirting pus with each convulsion. "We're just about to use that section, would you like a crack at it first?"
I quickly unzipped my pants and wasted no time jamming my erect penis into the stallion's defenseless asshole. With each thrust, I donkey punched the horse in the back of the head, making it clench its ass even tighter. I came just as the horse died. I was delighted. Popeyes definitely went the extra mile to make me a satisfied customer.

Not as good as some of the stories on here, but there was one nicer restaurant where I used to live, and it was always comfy, especially on my birthday. The bartenders there were top notch, knew exactly what I wanted to drink, and would ask me to try new things they were making for the menu to get an opinion. Sometimes, the guy would say “hey, I found this great liquor the other day, you should try some on the house”. For me (flyover hick); I know its cliche, but on my honeymoon in Maui. 5 separate restaurants. Maybe it was the food, maybe it was the experience but I was blown away

1) A place called "Da Shrimp Hale" https://www.yelp.com/biz/da-shrimp-hale-kahului We were over near the airport and just wanted some grub as we were drinking all day. Went to this place and didn't know what to expect. Just saw shrimp and figured we're in Hawaii it has to be good. We go in. You get basically an all you can eat garbage bag full of shrimp. Heads, tails, and shells still on; so you had to pluck them off and throw them in a bucket or whatever, but god damn, they just loaded this bag up with melted butter and cajun seasoning and we just pigged out on shrimp. I think it was more memorable because that was the first night my wife let me give her a facial. She was horny as fuck the entire time because she was in that perfect range where you are sober enough to know what you're doing but not yet blackout drunk. Even took a pic because she stuck her tounge out and said "get ready because I want you to cum on my face like this later"

2) I know its cliche, but Ruth Crist in Hawaii.I got oysters rockefeller, filet mignon, and I forget the side but the oysters and steak was delicious. Another couple overheard it was our honeymoon & bought us a 100$ bottle of wine which we finished. Fucked like Jackrabbits that night. 9 months to the day my 1st son was born

3) https://mamasfishhouse.com/ Mama's fish house. Apparently this is the town where Willie Nelson and Owen Wilson and Chris Pratt lived. Its on the way to the Road Hana. I got the mahi mahi and the wife got a lobster tail I believe. Just rich food. You can tell the food is just rich and the portion was big enough but when food is rich you only need smaller portions because it tastes better. I believe this is why shit places load you up with food.

4) Humu Humu at the Grand Wailea. We heard about this place and how they have great food. We both crushed some King Crab Legs. I had a great experience though because I was actually sat at a table next to Alice Cooper. He noticed I had a golf polo on and had something on my phone that intrigued him and came over and shot the shit with us. The food was 10/10. Expensive but that was expected.

Anyway the other cool experience I had wasn't at a restaurant but at a friend of a friend's house. Dude was a cocky rich as fuck boomer and had a few bottles of Pappys. Let me drink a few glasses. It was good; but, not worth the 2,000$ imho. Neither was his George Stagg. I go in, and it's just one lone Mexican man named Jesus who owns and runs it. One stove and it's got 4 massive, very obviously old and well used steel pots on it, instantly know I'm about to have the best burrito of my life. Two sizes on the menu, "burrito" and "small" he also has pozole soup. Anyways I got a barbacoa burrito, and it was fucking awesome. Everything was fresh and made in house, and his cilantro sauce was insane. Burrito and a drink is $10. Left a hefty tip and bought a box of Pulparindos to boot. Thanks Jesus.
