I've never met an overtly poor person who spent their time doing anything worthwhile.

A set of nonstick pots and pans can run you like $150. That's like the cost of 8 big macs, and they will help keep you fed way more than any fast food. Poverty is a mentality. There's always something you can be doing better, and poor people don't think about what they can do better. They think of how they can scrape by. Which is usually by buying quick, greasy, instant gratification.

I have no degree but make 115k doing remote work (information assurance). I do attribute it to intelligence (I knew at a young age to put all my career points into computer-adjacent shit) but also I gym and facemax and deliberately look for contracting companies on linkedin who employ female recruiters. I have 100% been hired for my looks, granted, not in this case but in cases I have used to gain experience. What was the question?
