I put chips and cheese under the broiler, and then dip the basic nachos in either canned chili or canned refried beans with hot sauce. I've given up on trying to cook the nachos with wet ingredients, it always ends in disaster.

you're cooking too fast at too high a temperature. Put it at 350 and cook it for 45 minutes or so, adjusting a bit for the amount of wet

First of all you need some tortillas. You can use a whole wheat flour tortilla or you can make some good quality corn tortillas. You can either get white tortillas or corn tortillas. They don’t have to be the same thing, they just have to be the same kind. I love corn tortillas. But you could also use some good quality white flour tortillas if you’d like. They have the right texture

A big ass bag of Santitas dumped out and spread fairly evenly on a baking sheet. Cover them with freshly shredded jack cheese with a little bit of this ghost pepper colby jack I have mixed in. Maybe add in some roughly chopped raw onions and/or cilantro. Throw it in the oven at like 300 until the cheese is melted. Serve with a few small dipping cups filled with salsa and sour cream. Eat with a steady supply of coronas with lime. In the rare event there are leftovers, both chips and salsa, add it to scrambled eggs in the morning to ward off the hangover from the beer.

I tried googling "appetizing nachos" for an image like how I make them but found none the same.

Mince
Chili beans
Brown onion
Butter
Sauce

Fry in the pan.
Plenty, get it hot.

Chips on plates, just not in the middle.
Plenty of cheese. Some on the chips.
Put from the pan to the middle of the plate.
More cheese on top :)
Mcrowave, and after, sour cream.
