My biggest complaint is that the drivers just genuinely seem to be stupid or incompetent.
I regularly ordered from a place that had in house delivery and it was always fast and quick. Then one day my order never came through at the estimated time and I received a call 15 minutes later from the delivery guy who somehow had gotten lost and wanted me to guide him to my door. Then he asked if I could come downstairs to meet him. Of course when I met him he wasn't wearing the restaurant shirt he was some 3rd party mouth breather the place hired to save money. The last time I tried them was when I received an Uber Eats gift card. I ordered a Smashburger and fries around 6pm on a Saturday night, I'd been drinking for a bit at that point and it sounded perfect. They’re ~$200 for the pros and are actually pretty nice earbuds. Good sound quality, noise canceling was a godsend during my warehousing days. Perfecf if you have appleshit phones, but god forbid you don’t have a PC thats a shitty mac.
They were a gift and were gotten on sale and discount anyway for $150 and the build quality is actually reflected in the price.
keep in mind beforehand my go-tos were $20 corded earbuds but eventually having them break about once a year got annoying.

Bullshit. You get what the service offers you and if youre dumb enough to take shit orders, you get what you deserve.
I bought into the hype and decided to try my hand at doordash, grubhub and uber eats to make some extra cash and quickly found out why these apps are garbage. The biggest reason they are trash is because most of the drivers aren't even supposed to be doing deliveries. They have a friend or family member sign them up and pass the background check for them, and after that a non english speaking immigrant does the rest. Uber is the only service that requires you to have car insurance and also makes you submit a photo of yourself randomly to verify that you are the actual account owner. Another thing is that with all 3 platforms you are supposed to use a hot bag for all deliveries. I was the only driver who ever carried a bag for all of my pickups. It's also not uncommon for drivers to run all 3 apps at the same time. So if your doordash driver picked up your $10 food order with a 10 minute delivery window, but a $25 dollar order comes in on grubhub, your order now takes a backseat because he's going to drive 10 minutes out of the way just to snag that order because he knows that you probably won't decrease his tip even if you are 10 minutes late. Also, food quality is pinned on the restaurant and not the driver, so if you mark the "food was cold" tag on the ratings, that goes against the restaurant rating, not the drivers. I gave it up because the cost of fuel and vehicle wear wasn't worth the money. If you really feel compelled to keep using delivery apps, I would recommend using uber eats and avoiding doordash like the plague. I also recommend that you give shit ratings to anyone who:

Doesn't have your food in a hot bag.
Obviously doesn't speak English.
Is late by even a minute.
Has another person in the car with them. (This is prohibited by all 3 apps.)
Is generally just a shit person.
