Haven't been to a Sonic since ~2006, but when I was a fresh-faces young alcoholic working construction I'd have the following every day for lunch:

Chicken bacon toaster. 86 the honey mustard, add mayo.

Sub jalapeno poppers for fries.

Large lime-ade with extra limes.

I've decide to go with a classic vanilla shake myself on top of the burger and tots. Everyone always says vanilla is so plane, but I say it's one of the more sophisticated and rare desserts due to its ultra expensive main spice.
