It costs 1 dollar and feeds 2-4 people. It’s filling and tasty. With the exception of a little food colorant and stabilizers, it’s just inoffensive pasta in a milk and butter cheese sauce. It takes 6 minutes to make and is impossible to fuck up. It mixes well with frozen peas, which take even less time to cook than the pasta, meaning you can get a helping of veggies in for zero extra work, meaning it’s already a complete vegetarian dinner. It pairs with basically any meat you have lying around well too, if you so choose.

It’s basically white people egg-fried rice.

I buy the thick n' creamy kind, swap the amounts of butter and milk they call for, and then grate in a fuckload of parmesan when it's done. Maybe melt in a slice of provolone too. When I eat it I'll hit individual bites with Sriracha or Melinda's XXXX reserve hot sauce occasionally.

When I was about 13 and my parents would leave me at home alone with my younger brothers I'd be responsible for cooking. I'd always make sure that we had a box of the Deluxe Kraft Mac and Cheese. The one with the premade cheese sauce and better noodles.
Being that we were three boys, a single box of macaroni just wasn't a lot of food. I refused to make something else and make more dishes so I put a big can of Bush's Baked Beans and stirred it into the finished macaroni. It was delicious and we loved it. It was very filling, so we called it Big Man Stew
Trust me it's awesome. Its worth experimenting with the Bush Grillin Beans as those have a less sweet flavor. Also cutting in hotdogs or bacon was a good way to give it extra protein
