There's a species of pine from Italy where you can gather a ton of the buds and boil them to make a syrup that's damned good.
>>17961529
Pretty much this. Young pine.

Like pine needles. They have a fresh minty evergreen sort of flavor. Pine sap is edible too and very pleasant to chew.

Wtf? I'm not a bot, you robotlet. The image generator is a bot, but I'm putting the prompts in manually.

Imagine thinking someone made a bot that replies on topic by creating a series of images through an image generator with a prompt based off memes, screenshotting it on their phone and posts it replying to the relevant posts. Just imagine.

What do pine needles taste like? I've never had them before. I know my goats love them, so I'll feed the branches to them as treats.

I went camping during a school trip and we got to try pine needles. The hippies at the commune said you could make tea with them. They also said you could eat ants that ate pine needles.

Pine needle tea is pretty good if you do it right, and healthy too. But if you just throw a bunch of needles into boiling water it's probably going to taste like turpentine flavoured water.

You need to cut the ends off because that's where the sap resides and you don't want to eat sap. Then you chop the needles up into half quarter pieces to release the oils and flavours, and steep them in hot but not quite boiling water. How much you use and steeping time will obviously affect the strength.

this, also you want young fresh growth needles preferable from a tree far from any major roads because they can pick up toxins from automotive runoff.
