I've never had a munchy box so I can't comment on them (I don't know how they haven't caught on in the US yet). More "classic" British cuisine like Sunday roast, steak and kidney pie, pasties, blood sausage, Yorkshire puddings, fish and chips, mushy peas, bangers and mash, etc are the ultimate comfort foods. Meat, pastry, potatoes, gravy. It's delicious even if it isn't fancy looking and doesn't include exotic ingredients.

It's completely normal to call a Scotman British. The source of this misconception comes from the UK's absolute garbage tax laws which basically have anyone with any amount of wealth claiming it overseas. Outside of small businesses, all sensible British business owners register and claim taxes literally anywhere else (to a much higher degree than Americans). Hell, most great British companies moved to the US for preferable tax laws and then reopened subsidiaries back in the UK.
