So let me get this straight, if the beans are black or brown and on the correct carb (rice) then its based.

If they're red and on the wrong carb (toast) its cringe.

Would black beans on toast be acceptable? What about baked beans on rice?

Both are unacceptable. Beans should be separated from the rice. I'm probably just autistic but I don't like it when a dish has more than one staple carb mixed together. This is why any place that puts rice in their burritos is automatically trash tier.

Beans are an incomplete protein. Rice completes the chains and also tastes very good. Part of why beans n rice makes you feel nice after eating. Mix in some smoked sausage and man what a treat.

Do this but soak the rice in orange juice immediately after cooking for five minutes.

I usually put my leftover refried beans on toast for a breakfast. I fry the beans with lots of spices with onions, garlic, and chilies. It's based. I'm a brit though and a total beans on toast apologist.

No. The rice-bean combination is still missing at least one amino acid we need to live.

I like beans on toast. I like beans and rice. I would not even baked beans on rice but I do enjoy black bean gravy/red bean gravy with toast.
Toast is the superior carb.

sometimes i add black bean to my sauge-peppers-onions-cheese sandwich.... which is openfaced on toast smeared with black beans

tortas generally have refried beans smeared on the toast/bun

the issue with beans on toast is that theyre sweet beans full of sugar. fucking brits

baked beans are good on toast but sounds awful with rice. black beans on toast sounds like it could be pretty good so long as you season them and add some veg, cheese, salsa, or some other condiment to give it some depth.

Nah. Beans are rich in 8 of the 9 essential amino acids. Rice rounds them out by adding plenty of methionine, the 9th amino acid beans need.
